The role

Underground Cable Jointers prepare insulated electric power cables to connect to overhead lines and other electrical equipment.

Tasks include:

• laying, joining, terminating and repairing underground power cable
• conducting tests to check cables and locate faults

  • Ability to work outdoors and underground
